About Me
A vegan keto recipe creator, self-published cookbook author, fitness enthusiast, and English language teacher.
Whether I’m at work, in the gym, or on the beach, my head is swirling with recipe ideas. Making recipes is my art, my creative outlet, and by sharing them with you, I share a piece of myself. I hope my recipes nourish your body and your soul.
My goal is to create recipes that are both delicious and nutrient-rich, enabling you to enjoy your food and meet your nutritional needs under the unique constraints of a vegan ketogenic diet.
I grew up in a small town in western Canada. My mom milled fresh whole wheat flour for our bread, and my dad took great pride in the vastness of his woodpiles and the precision with which he plowed the snow from the long driveway that led to our beautiful home nestled in the forest. We had our own potato patch and clucking chickens ran amok. My mom took great care in what she fed her family, and our food often came from regional farms and neighboring gardens; the white sugar my sister and I finally badgered her into buying as teens was stored in a yellow 1960s Tupperware canister labelled “white death”.
My mom is an excellent cook, and my sister and I spent countless hours of our childhood in the kitchen alongside her, learning and making a nuisance of ourselves. It’s no surprise that we both grew up with a passion for cooking and an affinity for healthy eating.
A number of years ago, I stumbled upon the keto diet and became quite enthralled. However, I soon found that after having spent a number of years following an increasingly reducetarian diet, my food choices had starkly reversed course. Then, I ran across a Facebook group focusing on vegan keto, and that’s where the story of this book begins.
This website and my books, passion projects, combine my love of cooking and my knack for rising above unique creative challenges with my interests in nutritious foods and reducing the impact human food choices have on the planet and all those who inhabit it. I hope my book finds you well, that the pages within it bring you joy, and that the recipes leave you nourished.
Formulating a nutrient-dense, satisfying, and sustainable vegan ketogenic diet can be a challenge. Keto for Vegans does the work for you, delivering nutritious and delicious recipes that are low in carbs and high in the protein, fats, vitamins, and minerals your body needs to thrive.

On July 4th, Weebly (my hosting platform) informed me that it was removing its services in my region and that my website would be unpublished as of September 27th. Fortunately, I had already been working on this new site and could have it finished by then. However, on July 15th, Weebly cancelled my subscription and notified me that my website would be unpublished imminently. I decided the best course of action was to transfer the domain name (www.keto4vegans.com) to my new unfinished site rather than have you encounter an error page and not have access to any of my content.
Most of the content from my original site is already available here, and I’m working hard to redirect links, revise formatting, and add all the data needed for the new site’s fancy features to function at their full capacity.
Thank you for your patience while I revise content and work through the kinks.
…which is, unfortunately, still under construction.
Please bear with me while I continue to transfer content from my previous site, redirect links, revise formatting, and add all the data needed for the new site’s fancy features to function at their full capacity.
